This virtual reality app focuses on surgical aseptic procedures. The goal is to provide an affordable, intuitive, lifelike OR learning experience without the need for costly disposable medical training materials or the use of valuable human resources.
The experience utilizes the Oculus Quest (1&2) standalone VR headset that also includes hand tracking. Allowing users to experience the simulation without needing to use wires or handheld controllers. Hand tracking allows users to quickly acclimate and focus on the learning objectives without the hurdles of complex button configurations.
The app will be available to all mission partners once it has been uploaded to the Oculus App Lab.
